You’ve just entered your new happy place. Here at ARRAY, we live for film and we’re thrilled to welcome you to our viewing family!
We proudly create, distribute and amplify a range of creative content that’s made for all to watch — and, importantly — to engage with through virtual and physical viewing, conversation series and more. Here, you’ll find information about all upcoming ARRAY public programming, where it’s hosted and how to watch.

Array Play
The brand-new ARRAY Play convenes audiences online, providing programming destinations that expand our reach as well as our mission to offer cinematic gems to film-lovers around the world.
Virtual viewers can attend ARRAY film festivals, conversation series, and on-demand screenings from the comfort of your couches, backyards or wherever your devices connect.
Amanda Cinema
If you find yourself in the Los Angeles area, take time to visit the Amanda Cinema, a state-of-the-art, 50-seat theater on the ARRAY Creative Campus in Historic Filipinotown.
The screening space is named for Denise Amanda Sexton, Ava DuVernay’s beloved aunt whose passion for film — and insistence on representation — inspired her own. The cinematheque is a labor of love, driven by a desire to be of service to our community, our filmmakers and our audiences.
About Array
Founded in 2011 by filmmaker Ava DuVernay, ARRAY is a multi-platform arts and social impact collective dedicated to narrative change. Our organization catalyzes its work through a quartet of mission-driven entities: film distribution arm ARRAY Releasing, content company ARRAY Filmworks, programming and production hub ARRAY Creative Campus and our non-profit group ARRAY Alliance.
