Inspired by DVD director commentaries, ARRAY’s “Scene on Screen” series sits filmmakers in front of live audiences as they guide audiences through key scenes from one of their signature films.

We’re thrilled to welcome acclaimed filmmaker Ed Zwick who will discuss key scenes of the epic historical drama, GLORY (1989) and share insight about craft and his storytelling approach.

About the Film:

Denzel Washington received Academy Award and Golden Globe wins for Best Supporting Actor for his iconic performance in GLORY. This film chronicles the true story of the 54th Massachusetts Infantry Regiment, one of the first African-American regiments to serve the Union Army during the American Civil War, as they fight injustices from both outside and within their own company.

This FREE program isn’t your typical ARRAY screening. To gain the most of your experience, ticket holders should watch the film at home BEFORE you arrive. Our featured filmmaker will be starting and stopping the film throughout to highlight special moments.
